The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the Management of all Vendor, Foundry and Logistic functions; Purchasing, Order Delivery, Inventory Control, Factory Planning, and WIP Management. The Supply Chain Manager will establish and expand the existing Supply Chain systems to match the needs of a growing enterprise. Qualtré is a venture-backed fabless MEMS semiconductor company with Supply Chain partnerships to deliver state of the art inertial sensors.
The key challenges in this position are:
- Stabilizing the Supply Chain to achieve world class quality and on time delivery performance.
- Work to meet cost objectives for existing and future products.
- Select and Install short term and long term Business systems for Supply Chain support.
- Define, Develop, and Implement Order Delivery Procedures/Processes.
- Establish Logistics needed for international delivery of product.
- Establish KPI indices through-out the Supply Chain and drive continuous improvement.
- Refine and Improve Product Forecasting and Factory loading systems.
- Lead and establish Contractual agreements with Suppliers.
- Grow organization as needed to meet growing demand.
Qualifications/Requirements:
BSEE (or equivalent) with more than five years of related work experience in the semiconductor industry (or similar high technology industry) is required. Work experience should include Supply Chain Management, Subcontractor/Supplier management, procurement, logistics, and factory planning.
Candidates must also have exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated track record of success in Supply Chain functions. The person that will excel in this position must be a self-starter who requires minimal management oversight, be a team player with a good sense of humor, and have a contagious enthusiasm for the job.
This position will be based in the Qualtré Marlborough (Boston area) office. Travel throughout the world on a quarterly basis is required. We project a 20-25% minimum travel requirement.
Preference may be given to candidates with an advanced degree in a related technical field, knowledge of MEMS technology, and have worked in a small company / start-up environment.
